The singer recently revealed the raunchy video to her latest single Can’t Remember To Forget You.
Instead of featuring a hot male co-star, Shakira was joined onscreen by fellow pop babe Rihanna.
The singer revealed in an interview with US Billboard magazine: ‘He's very territorial, and since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women.’
‘It's more than implied in our relationship that I can't do videos like I used to. It's out of the question - which I like, by the way.’
Shakira is married to Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique and the couple are parents to 1-year-old son Milan.
‘I like that he protects his turf and he values me, in a way that the only person he would ever let graze my thigh would be Rihanna,’ says Shakira.
Though she’s no longer starring in videos with hunky men, Shakira revealed that she thoroughly enjoyed working with Rihanna.
‘She's the sexiest woman on the planet,’ she said. ‘The chemistry was so good and so real. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher.'
