Scott Disick - who checked into rehab last October following his split from Kourtney Kardashian - has shockingly revealed that he contemplated suicide in the wake of their breakup.

But, thankfully, Scott soon realised he had something very important to live for.

Speaking to Kourtney during an emotional episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, he said: "It's like, it's just terrible but like if I didn't have those kids I would kill myself.

“But I have them and I'm gonna be here and I'm gonna make it right for them.”

The reality star has three children with Kourtney - Mason, six, Penelope, three, and Reign, 12 months.

The famously on/off couple have recently been spending time together as a family for the sake of their kids.

However it seems as if Scott, who began partying and drinking to excess following the death of his parents, wants to be more than just a co-parent.

Yup, he also wants to rekindle his relationship with Kourtney.

Clearly on the brink of tears, Scott said: "I want to be able to be the man that you've always wanted.

"I could party, I could go out every night, I could do whatever, it's not the life that I really want.”

The 32-year-old added: “I know what I want and I may not get it, but I know that I would literally hate myself for the rest of my life if I didn't at least try and I realise that if I don't make a change now it'll never be able to be OK, and it may not be, but I'm damn well gonna try.”

It remains to be seen whether or not 36-year-old Kourtney will ever be able to forgive her ex-partner, but, for now, we’re glad to see that they’re working together for the sake of their children.
