The 32-year-old shares three children with Kourtney, 36, but US sources have claimed he’s ready to have his cake and eat it.
A family insider told Radar Online: “He’s broken her heart by requesting an open relationship, which he claims is increasingly common and will only strengthen them.”
It’s been a turbulent year for Lord Disick; he checked into rehab in March for ‘alcohol problems’, and was seen on the family reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians struggling to cope with his demons.
Unsurprisingly Kourtney is said to be mortified by Scott’s request, and had been hoping they’d finally get around to planning a wedding.
The source continued: “[She] is disgusted, of course. She was hoping he’d check into rehab, finally set a wedding date and was even hoping to have one more baby.”
In January this year, just a month after their son Reign Aston was born, Scott revealed why he doesn’t think he and Kourtney will ever get married.
He told People: “If it’s not broke don’t fix it – we’re happy the way it is. I don’t even think we’ll have time to get married at the rate we’re popping out kids.”
Kourtney and Scott are also parents to son Mason, five, and three-year-old daughter Penelope.
