Gogglebox-star-turned-radio-presenter Scarlett Moffatt has stayed strong amid rumours that boyfriend Luke Crodden is only with her for the money.
Yesterday, it emerged that Scarlett was so worried about her boyfriend's bank balance that she spoke to his ex to ask questions.
According to The Sun Online she wrote: "I was wrongly fobbed off into believing Luke had money and owned a home in London etc which obviously I found out isn’t true which doesn’t bother as I earn my own money but I don’t want to be taking the p**s out of."
"My friends and family are just worrying I’m a meal ticked [sic] and as lovely as he I just want to make sure that this isn’t true although when I hear things like this I just don’t want the same to happen [sic]."
Luke's ex responded that he still owed her £2000, and Scarlett confided in her that she may have to break up with him.
Seems like everything got cleared up, though, as amid criticism, Scarlett today took to Instagram to fob off the naysayers by posting a pic of her and Luke looking happier than ever.
She also spoke out in an interview recently, and said
"I'll marry him and have babies - I want two!"
Fingers crossed it all continues to go well for her, and Luke sorts out his, erm, finances, soon....
