It was only recent that Scarlett Moffatt spoke out about her anxiety battle and now she's opened up about the terrifying incident when she was told she could have cancer.

The 27-year-old star explained the heartbreaking news came four years after her dad recovered from a rare skin cancer. Opening up about the horrific moment the doctors revealed the devastating news that she might have cancer, she explains in an extract with The Mirror: "I had no idea what any of the words meant. It’s only now I understand why my parents got so upset.
"The thought of his [her dad] little girl having tests for that awful C-word – cancer – was heartbreaking. My dad picked up my sock, held it to his eye and started to cry.
"Even though I was nervous and confused at what was happening, I just wanted to hear my dad laugh, not cry.
The reality star went on to reveal that three hours later the Moffatt family received the good news that she didn't have cancer. Things didn't get any easier for Scarlett because just before she started secondary school, she suffered from a horrific fall that smashed her front two teeth.
"A car bumped the back of my bike and I flew over my handlebars. I remember squeezing my eyes closed. Screaming on the inside, please don’t hurt!
"I felt the impact on my chin first as it smashed on to the concrete, followed by my teeth.
After the incident, Scarlett suffered from Bell's Palsy and she was severely bullied. She recently spoke on This Morning about the horrible ordeal: "The thing that was the worst was the threats, it was always the worry of what could happen.
"I would get out of school ten minutes early so I wouldn't get beaten up, because they would threaten to.
She went on to reveal the awkward moment she confronted one of her bullies after she bumped into her in a supermarket. After the former bully told the TV star she often tells her daughter that she's friends with her, Scarlett was quick to say: "We were never friends.
"I had to move schools because you and your girl gang because you were just awful to me.
"I hope your kids never meet anyone who's like you were at school."
Go Scarlett!
