Following media reports and a helluva lotta engagement rumours, spokesman Marcel Pariseau confirmed that Scarlett Johansson is engaged to her French journalist beau: "I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged. They haven't chosen a date for the wedding."
How exciting - we'll have to buy a hat, pronto.
While the spokesman did not elaborate further (spoilsport), sources at US magazines suggested that Romain put a ring on Scarlett's finger back in August - and that the pair are over the moon to be planning their wedding.
"They're engaged and very happy."
Earlier this week the actress was spotted wearing a vintage Art Deco style diamond engagement ring while promoting her latest sci-fi film Under the Skin at the Venice Film Festival and, despite trying to distract us with a gorgeous plunging gown, the world's press quickly zoned in on the bling.
She'll make an outrageously beautiful bride, won't she?
