The accompanying artwork and music video shows the girls pre-baby bumps as they dress up in masculine suits and hats.

And their wardrobe is not the only surprise as the girls try their hand at rapping.

Speaking about the single, which premiered on UK radio this morning, Mollie King, 25, revealed:

‘Who knew you would hear The Saturdays rapping? We had so much fun in the studio messing around on this track!’

The tongue-in-cheek song is a follow up to their latest single ‘What About Us’, which became their first number one back in March.

'Gentleman is a totally different sound for us but it feels like a natural progression from 'What About Us’,’ said Frankie Sanford, 24.

Written by Priscilla Renea, who has previously penned songs for Rihanna and Cheryl, ‘Gentlemen’ serves as the third single for their upcoming fourth studio album.

Speaking about the music video, Rochelle Humes, 24, added:

‘In the video, you definitely get to see us in a completely new light…dressed as men! It was definitely our most fun video shoot yet.'

And fellow band mate Vanessa White, 23, seems to have enjoyed the experience a little too much as she jokingly told a UK magazine:

‘I think I'm better as a man!. When we were trying on the outfits I was naturally posing as a dude!’

Rochelle took to Twitter on Wednesday to share her excitement about the upcoming single.

‘Can't wait for you guys to see the video for #Gentleman :-) it's a gooden :-) x,’ she tweeted.

She also denied that she had given birth after rumours that she was in labour spread.

And Rochelle is not the only Saturday with a baby on the way.

Fellow band mate Frankie announced last week that she was expecting her first child with fiancé Wayne Bridge.
