Broadchurch actress Sarah Parish has been rushed to hospital after she broke her leg during a snow-related accident.
The accident happened while she was playing in the snow with her daughter. Apparently, she was attempting to snowboard on a cheap plastic sledge in her back garden, when she fell and broke her leg. Ouch!
Sarah posted the above photo to her Instagram, alongside the caption: "Day 2 in Winchester Hospital. Looks like I’ll be operated on today. They’re putting a bloody great big pin right through my shin!!"
She added: "No sleep last night, was on enough Morphine to knock the Navy out but still in pain😩 Note to self: cheap plastic sledges are for sitting in and gently trundling down primary slopes NOT a substitute for a stand up snowboard."
She's confirmed that she will need an operation today. After posting about her ordeal online, fans and friends flocked to send her well wishes.
Holby City star Nicola Stephenson said: ‘God almighty Sparish!! Sending you so much love. When they take you off the morphine we will bring gin xxxxxxx.’
Meanwhile, Moorside actress Faye McKeever commented: ‘Ouch ouch ouch! Sending lots of positive vibeeeeesss Pazza xx.’
