The 51-year-old star, who already has a five-year-old boy, Louis, who she adopted back in 2010, revealed to People magazine that she has added to her brood.

Three-year-old Laila will join Louis and Sandra as part of their family, after being fostered by the Miss Congeniality star previously.

Touchingly, Bullock said she believed ‘the exact right children came to me at the exact right time,’ and that her first child Louis ‘spearheaded this whole journey.’

Sandra began her quest to adopt Louis Bardo when she was going through a divorce from husband Jesse James.

Heartbreakingly, Sandra was planning to adopt Louis with her then husband, but after their marriage fell apart she continued to pursue the adoption despite being a single mom.

Her ex Jesse, 46, is allegedly still bitter about the fact that he ‘lost’ Louis, even though the adoption process was already in motion.

He blames the fact that he lost the child on Sandra being a Hollywood star, rather than the fact his infidelity led to their divorce.

Meanwhile Sandra’s romantic life has reportedly gone from strength to strength, despite having kids to care for, with the star moving on with photographer Bryan Randall this year.

According to Radar Online, the couple even moved in together late this year, though this has not been confirmed.
