The star revealed that her anxiety started when she was just 11 years old and have got progressively worse as she has got older.

She told The Mirror "You feel like you are going to die, you can't breathe. You feel like you are going to faint. I wouldn't wish them on anyone - they are horrible."

The star added that she's not surprised she suffers from such bad anxiety, as she is always worrying about something or another.

"Anxiety is like a fear. I read somewhere that depression means you are looking at the past too much, whereas anxiety is worrying about the future too much. That makes sense to me because I do worry about everything."

Samia opened up to fans during Mental Health Week on Instagram, when she revealed her common condition with her fans. She wrote:

“I’ve suffered with anxiety since I was 11 (and possibly before that, but that was the first time I saw my doctor about my inability to ‘get a deep breath). It is something that comes and goes with me, but when it’s there it’s awful and all consuming"

"I love that the stigma of mental health is finally being broken and people are opening up, talking and realising that you’re not alone. In fact it is pretty common. I’m not gonna patronise but just wanted to send love out to all people having a daily."
