Earlier this year, Samia Ghadie excitingly announced that she and Sylvain Longchambon are expecting their first baby together.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “We are having a baby!! Freya can't wait to be a big sister later this year!”

But, while there’s no denying that Samia is very happy to become a mum for the second-time, she has admitted that her pregnancy hasn’t been as easy as her first.

Writing in her blog for OK! Online, she explained: “One thing that has been quite literally a pain for me this pregnancy is lower backache.

“I’ve read up on it and apparently it's pretty normal because your ligaments are softer when pregnant and that, coupled with hormonal changes and a growing uterus, is a recipe for a bad back!

“I don't remember it being so bad when I had Freya, although after having a C-section it has always seemed a bit weaker.”

But, thankfully, she has doting fiancé Sylvain Longchambon on hand to help her through it.

She explained: “Sylvain has been a great help though and has been giving me plenty of back rubs.”

The Corrie star, who announced her engagement to the Dancing On Ice star at the end of May, added that she also gets a little extra help in the bedroom, too.

In the form of a pregnancy pillow, that is!

Samia said: “Trying to sleep has been a challenge though so I ordered a fab pregnancy pillow which has been a godsend.

“It's huge and pretty much takes up half the bed but it does seem to ease the pressure.”

Have you ever suffered with back pain during a pregnancy? Do you have any tips you can share with Samia?
