Congratulations are in order for Love Island 2019 star Amy Hart and her boyfriend Sam Rason who have announced they’re expecting their first child together.
The couple revealed the exciting news during an appearance on Loose Women yesterday as she opened up about her pregnancy journey so far.
Although she has previously frozen her eggs and opened up about plans to start IVF, Amy explained she and Sam had conceived naturally. While the couple are planning to keep the gender of their baby under wraps until the birth, Amy did let slip she was between 13 and 14 weeks pregnant.
She said, “I’ve talked about fertility MOT and Loose Women supported me to go and get my fertility MOT and I came on here and shared the results. Then I froze my eggs because of that and came on here and talked about that. Then I met Sam and he had his first TV appearance on Loose Women, so I felt [it’s] the only place to announce that I’m pregnant!”
Amy continued, “It was very unexpected, we weren’t going to start trying until next year… I had my 30th completely sober – Amesfest. Stacey’s sister made me a cup so no one could see what I was drinking and everyone kept coming up to me and saying, ‘You don’t seem very drunk?’ And I said to my best friend, ‘People are beginning to ask’, and she said, ‘Well, you’re going to have to do something then!’ So the Abba tribute band was playing Lay All Your Love On Me and I started crawling across the dancefloor, and nobody asked again!”
Following her announcement, Amy was inundated with messages of congratulations from her celeb followers and fans including Anna Vakili, who wrote, “Omg wowwwww congratulations 🥹💕 so happy for you ❤️”
Maura Higgins added, “Congratulations to you both😍😍❤️❤️,” while Kady McDermott commented, “Congrats Amy!!! Wonderful news ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

"Ideally, I would like to get married before having kids, but I have all my fertility issues, so potentially baby first just so we know it's done."
