Speaking to a UK magazine, the reality star admitted that she used to be pre-occupied with her weight.

She says: ‘I'm naturally quite a curvy girl, so before CBB I trained really hard because I was desperate to go from a size 10 to an 8.’

‘But when I got ill and dropped more weight, it put things in perspective. All my stressing about being skinny didn't matter - what's important is that your healthy, happy and feeling good in your clothes.’

Sam was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease after falling ill in the Celebrity Big Brother house. She was hospitalised following her exit from the house and checked herself into a private London clinic to run blood tests.

It was nearly a year after she began experiencing symptoms before she was diagnosed with the condition.

Now, Sam is concentrating on getting healthy again and looking after herself.

'I'll never diet again. I'll never drive myself as mad as I did because when I was thin I didn't feel sexy.’

Sam recently rekindled her romance with fellow ex-TOWIE star Joey Essex.
