Sam Faiers’ husband Paul Knightley says he’s put on FOUR STONE since first date with her

Sam Faiers' partner Paul Knightley says he's put on a whopping four stone since he began dating her in 2015.

The property developer mogul made the confession on the most recent episode of The Mummy Diaries, where he recreated his first ever date with the TOWIE legend.

In the episode, we see the parents to baby Paul, three, and Rosie, one, lament the fact that they’ve not had any quality alone since the birth of their daughter in 2017.

Romantic Paul decided to rectify the situation by taking Sam on a punting trip in Cambridge – which was exactly how he initially wooed her years ago.

Reminiscing on the selfie Sam posted from the date that confirmed their romance to the world, Sam said, "Do you know what's going to be different from our selfie when we take it?!''

To which self-depricating Paul said, "Me being four stone heavier?

"Look how slim my face is!"

Sam retaliates, "No! I was just going to say, us looking older. But I think with you, it's not really your face, it's because you've gone so grey.

"So when you look at old pictures, people go: 'Paul looks so much younger,' but it's not, it's because your hair is grey."

But stubborn Paul insists, "It's not, it's being slimmer makes you look younger as well."

The reality stars recently enjoyed a romantic trip to Venice – the first since their babies were born - and fans were convinced that he was finally going to pop the question and make an honest woman out of her.

"Defo going to get a ring on this trip! ♥️ Come on Paul! Lol 😂," wrote one hopeful commenter, while another added, "Beautiful. Lovely place for a proposal 😉 xx".
