The former X Factor winner, 37, was recently dropped by Simon Cowell's record label Syco but she's not too upset about it.
In fact, the mum-of-three is just grateful her time at the label paid for an extension on her house.
Speaking to the Daily Star at a Jog On To Cancer charity event last week, Sam said: "There's no hard feelings with my label – they paid for my house extension and looked after my me for the year we were together."
It's not the most conventional reaction to essentially being fired but at least Sam's got her priorities right…
Maybe the reason that she just doesn't seem bothered is because she's already back in the studio and working on new music.
She said: "I'm writing a lot of it this time and have recorded two tracks."
Former prison warden Sam recently insisted that she's still grounded, despite her musical success.
"I don't feel any different. I go round the shops in my onesie if I need a pint of milk," she told the Leicester Mercury.
"I can drop in and out of the celebrity world when I want to, which is a great thing to do."
