Mum-of-three Sam Bailey revealed her diagnosis on Twitter this week, although it has been something she's been worrying about for a while.

SAM BAILEY OPENS UP ABOUT TERRIFYING PREGNANCY SCARE: "I WAS SO FRIGHTENED"

In October, she wrote anxiously on the social media site: "Either I have an ear infection or Bells palsy and after reading about what the latter one is, I think I'd prefer an ear infection!!!"

She later revealed a doctor had confirmed her worst fears, although she said she would do a 'follow spree' on Twitter to cheer herself up.

But the mum-of-three still managed to make light of the situation when she appeared on Saturday Kitchen.

She said: “I went out trick-or-treating for Halloween, I didn't have to wear a mask because obviously my face is a bit frightening.”

After receiving a huge amount of support, Sam thanked them and later gave them an update on her condition.

Tweeting a picture of herself, she wrote: "Apart from having a numb face and not being able to blink my left eye, I'm feeling a lot better today!

"ThanKyou for all your supportive comments today!! Feeling very brave!! Xx onwards and upwards xx"

Bell's Palsy is a nerve condition that causes temporary weakness or paralysis of the muscles in one side of the face.
