Sam Bailey, 36, was rushed to hospital after she started bleeding unexpectedly last week.
Speaking about the frightening incident with a national magazine, the pregnant mum-of-two said: “I was genuinely so frightened.
"They told me they wanted to give me an internal scan and I was like ‘Oh God what are they going to find?’
“They kept me in overnight to make sure everything was ok and luckily it was all fine.”
Sam posted a message on Twitter for her loyal fans, revealing: "To all my concerned fans x me and baby are fine. I'm out of hospital and all is well x"
While Sam and baby were both fine, the experience left her feeling shaken - and, speaking at a press launch for the Miracle In Progress clinic in London, she revealed that she has been encourage to have scans more regularly.
Showing off a 4D ultrasound of her baby, she said: “The Miracle in Progress 4D HD scans have been so reassuring.
“I can tell by looking at the pictures that the baby is ok.”
The X Factor winner seems to be feeling better, posting a delicious photograph of her dinner onto Twitter for her fans to see.
She wrote: "Dinner!!! Not very healthy I know but..... What baby wAnts, baby gets xx [sic]"
Sam - who has two children, Tommy and Brooke, with her husband Craig Pearson - announced her pregnancy in April.
We can't wait to meet her little peanut!
