Sam Bailey has revealed to her fans that she was rushed to hospital recently after taking a nasty fall at her home.
Sam, who rose to fame after winning the tenth series of The X Factor in 2013, told her 379,000 fans that she was recently knocked out after a ladder fell on her at her house.
Ouch!!!
Luckily, the 40-year-old singer is OK, but after the incident Sam shared photos of herself on Twitter and Instagram showing herself on a stretcher with a head brace.

She posted a rather up-close-and-personal shot of herself in a head brace with her eyes closed, writing: "So this was me tonight! Unconscious! CT scan and after finding out my skull is in tact I've decided I'm not going to in the loft again!"
She then posted a photo on Twitter of herself back at home with her dogs, writing: "I'm on the mend people!"
It later emerged that the singer had been getting a suitcase out of the loft when the ladder sprang back and hit her on the head, knocking her out. Luckily Sam's husband was there and able to call an ambulance, but according to a source speaking to The Mirror: "Sam was on the floor for about an hour."
She was then "checked over at Leicester Royal Infirmary then allowed home later that day".

A day after the accident, Sam is still suffering from dizzy spells and headaches, and yesterday tweeted a photo of herself with a new haircut saying: "Due to the fact I’m having dizzy spells and having headaches, my wonderful hairdresser @MalcMurphyHair came to me!!! Thank you soooo much!! Love you!!! #stayawayfromloftdoors."
Sam had been due to appear in the** Beauty and The Beast **pantomime in Leicester, playing the part of the Enchantress, but wasn't well enough to take part in the show.
Speaking to the local newspaper the Leicester Mercury, Sam said: "Thank you so much to everyone who has asked about me on social media.
"I am on the mend and resting up at home. I’m gutted to be missing panto and I hope to be back as soon as possible!"
