Rumours of a reunion hit fever pitch when a Twitter account for the band appeared online earlier this week.
According to reports earlier this year, the group was waiting on ex-bandmate Rachel Stevens to confirm her interest in the reunion project before officially getting back together.
The band- which consists of Tina Barrett, 38, Paul Cattermole, 37, Jon Lee, 32, Bradley McIntosh, 33, Jo O’Meara, 35, Hannah Spearitt, 33, and Rachel, 36- have chosen to return to pop music in an effort to raise money for a good cause.
The group will step back into the studio to record a charity single for BBC’s Children In Need.
S Club 7 released a statement reading: “We’re massive fans of BBC Children in Need and it was great to be able to support the charity all those years ago. We’re really looking forward to bringing it all back for Pudsey, for BBC Children In Need and for all our fans who have been so great over the years. This is going to be the mega S Club party of all time!”
The group previously released a charity single for the fundraising event back in 2000. They then released their number one hit ‘Have You Ever’ a year later for the same cause.
The group sold millions of records and won millions of fans with through their records and numerous TV series.
