Rylan Clark-Neal claims he saved fellow This Morning presenter Sarah Greene’s life.
Big Brother’s Bit On The Side host Rylan and Sarah are standing in for regular This Morning couple Eammon Holmes and Ruth Langsford and the former X Factor contestant told of his experience on the programme today.
Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Rylan proudly told viewers he was the reason Sarah was still alive and made it into work today.
He grinned and said: “I actually saved Sarah Greene’s life.”
Sarah nodded in agreement and explained that she had fallen asleep in the bath.
The former Blue Peter and Going Live presenter said that if it wasn’t for Rylan texting her, she may not have woken up and could have drowned as her head was about to dip under the water.
She said: “It was Rylan asking whether I was alive… only just! So thank you for that.”
Rylan has become a regular fixture on our television screens after rising to fame on The X Factor.
In addition to This Morning, he fronts Channel 5’s Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and will also be appearing on the spin-off of the star-studded version when Celebrity Big Brother begins on 1 August.
Names rumoured to be taking part include former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, recently departed Gogglebox star Sandra Martin, Ibiza Weekender favourite Jordan Davies and Absolutely Fabulous actress Helen Lederer.
