There’s no point denying it; we’ve all harboured a secret crush on at least ONE of the Thomas brothers at some point in our lives.
Whether you’ve caught yourself ogling Ryan as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, or Adam as Adam Barton in Emmerdale, the dark haired duo are definitely our cup of tea.
However the pair of them have upped the ante, as they’ve now ditched their cuddly dad bods in favour of something…
Well, in favour of something a little more muscular.
Check it out:
Yikes, we barely recognised them!
So what did they do to achieve their new look?
Well, they signed up to work with Ultimate Performance Fitness Manchester’s trainers.
And they managed to transform their physiques in just 12 weeks.
Gulp.
Ryan wanted to get in great shape as he looks for new roles post-Coronation Street, while dad Adam wanted to get back to fitness before his wedding to Caroline Daly.
A spokesperson for the personal training chain told us: “The results are the culmination of 12 weeks of nutritional education and support and an average of 3 workouts a week.”
They also revealed the brothers’s stats.
Check it out:
Ryan Thomas
-
Start - 82.6kg - 22.5% body fat
-
Finish - 78kg - 9.5% body fat
Adam Thomas
-
Start - 87kg - 30.1% body fat
-
Finish 80kg - 16 % body fat
Ryan is hoping his new look will help him find some acting work after he leaves ITV’s Corrie, after 15 years on the cobbles.
He previously told OK! Magazine: “The main reason is I wanted to have a change and it was about doing something I’ve never done before.
“I feel like now is the right time - I’m in my thirties… I’ve been here since I was 16 - that’s all my life, really.
“It’s the only job I’ve ever had.”
We imagine that, wherever he finds work, he’ll want to take a little time off next year for brother Adam’s wedding.
The 27-year-old Emmerdale star got down on one knee during a romantic holiday to Dubai last month.
Speaking about the proposal, Adam explained: "The Jumeirah Beach in Dubai did wonders, I just booked it all through them.
“It was amazing, we had a really private spot on the beach."
He added that, despite the sunny climes of their engagement, he and his fianceé would prefer to wed on home turf.
"I think we'd like to do it next year but it's finding the venue and getting it all sorted,” he said.
