He’s already been linked to two different women since announcing his divorce from Ruth Langsford, and now Closer can exclusively reveal that presenter Eamonn Holmes is also seeking support from a third woman, according to our insider.
The GB News presenter has been working with podcaster Hayley Sparkes for some time, and friends have told Closer that she’s been helping him through the separation.
It was announced just last month that Ruth, 64, was divorcing Eamonn, also 64, after she discovered messages on a laptop between him and another woman.
So the news of him also reaching out to travel presenter Hayley, 40, will come as another blow to the Loose Women star.
“Eamonn met Hayley through social media. He loves travelling and cruises and wanted to try something different away from news. He thought working with her would be perfect. They’re often travelling together on Princess cruises and Hayley even shared a recent picture of her enjoying a luxury high tea with him.
“As well as that, Eamonn has also visited Hayley at her home for business meetings. Recently they’ve been speaking a lot.”
Since the news of their divorce, Eamonn has moved out of the Surrey home he shared with Ruth into a rented flat in south west London.
Hayley, who is reportedly engaged to her partner Ben, recently interviewed Eamonn for her show, The Travel Podcast, and her Instagram features several pictures of the pair together, with Hayley even branding him as “my broadcasting idol and the nicest man in my industry”.
Describing one time they hung out as an “absolute joy”, Hayley wrote to Eamonn, “Thank you for coming all the way to see me in Essex. We didn’t stop chatting and you always make me laugh and smile”. In response, Eamonn commented, “All work meetings should be as fun and productive”.
According to the source, Eamonn has insisted that Hayley is just a friend.
“Ruth and Eamonn were the TV couple everyone knew and loved,” the insider says. “People did notice Eamonn was grumpier recently, but they put it down to his health issues. But it seems like there’s a whole secret side to him that no one, not even Ruth, knew about and she’s flabbergasted by it all.”
In the wake of the divorce announcement, Northern-Irish presenter Eamonn has also been linked to relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, 42, who has visited Eamonn at his new place a number of times. He is also said to have been consoled over his split by facialist Lisa Harris.
However, the insider tells Closer that he and Lisa are just friends. “Lisa is completely innocent. They’re friends and he was only visiting her for his regular facial appointments,” they say.
Since the news broke of their split, Ruth – who shares son Jack, 22, with Eamonn – has extended her leave of absence from the Loose Women panel. She has, however, been throwing herself into her QVC range – posting videos of friends wearing her collection on Instagram.
Eamonn, on the other hand, returned to GB News soon after the divorce was announced, where he acknowledged the headlines around the end of his marriage.
