Remember when wholesome TV favourite Ruth Langsford accidentally shared some very X-rated private pics in honour of Mothering Sunday?

Delighting mums everywhere, no doubt.

TV presenter and wife of Eamonn Holmes Ruth opened up on Loose Women about that seriously NSFW (not safe for work) upload.

For those who missed the whole saga (seriously, where were you?), Ruth - who you may think of as being sweet and homely - shocked fans when she accidentally shared an explicit picture on her Twitter feed.

Ruth accidentally shared the X-rated photo on Mother's Day (seems fitting) when she tweeted a sweet tribute to her mum and sister.

Posting a picture of the three of them online, she wrote: “My wonderful Mum and big sis. Thinking of those who no longer have their Mum’s… you’ll always have memories.”

However underneath the totally innocent picture of Ruth with her mum and sister, eagle-eyed fans spotted two not so innocent images featuring a mystery man's peen.

Was it Eamon's? We can but wonder.

One of the rude memes featured a penis in a shoe, while the other consists of a split image showing a woman recreating a children's cartoon character using a man's penis with the caption: 'That's it I'm done for the whole month - this tops it all off' with lots of laugh-cry face emojis!

She continued: "What I didn't know is that when people send you these racy, saucy little pictures that go round - fun pictures that your girlfriends send you that are very amusing - I didn't realise that they get saved to your camera roll."

Although Ruth - who is clearly amused by the whole incident - admitted she was initially mortified (especially as the pictures had been shared on Mother's Day) she didn't take full responsibility, and instead passed the buck, saying, "I blame the girlfriend who sends me those rude pictures; you KNOW who you are."

She also admitted, "There might be more than one...".

Did you expect anything less from the queen of daytime telly?

Finally, Lisa Riley asked the question on everyone's mind: "What did Eamonn say?"

Ruth admitted that her husband, Eamonn Holmes, was worried people would think it was his privates on show.

Well Eamon, the jury is still out on that one.
