The Party-Loving Prince: Prince Harry, 26, England

Since splitting with Zimbabwe-born Chelsea Davy last year, Prince Henry of Wales (to get all formal for a minute) has soared to the top of England’s eligible bachelor league, despite his bad-boy past (he was caught smoking cannabis and drinking when just 17). He is now happily pursuing a career in the military. Could you be his Forces Sweetheart?

The Richest Prince: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, 28, Dubai

If you think his name is long, you should see his bank balance: the hereditary Prince of Dubai is heir to a $12billion fortune. But he doesn’t spend all day writing cheques, he writes poetry too, which he publishes under the name “Fazza”. Educated at Sandhurst and the London School of Economics, Sheikh Hamdan is a keen horse-rider, winning the gold medal for Equestian at the Asian Games. So the chances of him carrying you off on a white charger are high. Nice!

Most Handsome Prince: Andrea Casiraghi of Monaco, 26

With his shoulder-length curls and chiseled jaw, the son of Princess Caroline of Monaco is a Disney Prince Charming brought to life. But with Grace Kelly as his grandmother, perhaps it’s not surprising that Andrea turns up regularly in the “Most Beautiful People in the World” lists in Forbes magazine. Annoyingly, his Columbian socialite girlfriend Tatiana Santo Domingo does too. But let’s move on. Andrea is currently furthering his post-graduate studies in New York so if you fancy being married to the second-in-line to the throne of Monaco, get packing.

Sportiest Prince: Prince Amadeo of Belgium, 25

He ran the 2008 New York Marathon, so this Belgium prince should be used to being chased by packs of excited females. He lives and works in New York (which appears to be a prime hunting place for princes) and is a reserve officer for the Belgian Army. He plays rugby, which might explain why we think he’s so scrummy.

The Artiest Prince: Prince Carl Philip, of Sweden, 31

Something of a playboy Prince, Carl Philip – second in line to the Swedish throne – has a lifelong passion for art and design and studied Graphics in Stockholm. But he’s not all paintbrushes and canvas, he also loves to race Porsches and ski cross-country. (Hmm, he seems to have an alarmingly high number of methods to escape us.) He’s single at the moment after breaking up with glamour model Sofia Hellqvist and is studying at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Alnarp, until June 2011. Mini-break break in Sweden anyone!?
