The former Take That star explained that, despite still performing, he goes straight home to his wife and kids after shows, rather than out partying.
Robbie said: “I’m here now. I’m sober-ish. I’m 41-years-old. The back is knackered, the knees are gone, but I’m still here to entertain.
“Only now I do the show and then go to bed. I’m also a daddy to two young children.
“My daughter is starting to sing, so it won’t be long until she is up here with me, and I’ve got the wife.”
But Robbie insists that his new laidback lifestyle doesn’t stop him from putting on a good show.
It looks like all of that staying in has helped Robbie to save up for his new home: he’s allegedly purchased a huge $32m mansion in Beverly Hills – which has 22 bathrooms.
At least he and wife Ayda Field and their two children, daughter Theodora Rose, three, and one-year-old son Charlton, will never have to queue…
