Robbie Williams has quit social media in a bid to distance himself from trolls.
The star, 44, who has battled depression and anxiety, has admitted to removing himself from Twitter and other social media platforms to protect his mental wellbeing.
According to The Sun, the former Take That star's social accounts will now be run by his team while he fulfils his role as a judge on The X Factor.
He told the paper, "I've had to take myself off social media – reading Twitter and stuff.
"The love is massive but the hate can make you feel like the world is crashing in.
"If there's more than half the country that hate me, that's 50million people."

Robbie admitted that while he enjoys his role on The X Factor, he is prone to reacting negatively to comments from viewers and this can have a detrimental effect his mental health.
Speaking to The Sunday Times Magazine, the British hitmaker said: "This job is really bad for my health. It’s going to kill me. Unless I view it in a different way."
He also linked his depression to his career choice, adding, "[Depression] sprints through my family. I don’t know if I’d be this mentally ill without fame. I don’t think it would be as gross or as powerful if it hadn’t have been for fame."
The star is currently a judge on The X Factor alongside his wife Ayda Field, Louis Tomlinson and boss Simon Cowell.
But as well as his hectic schedule, Robbie has also just become a dad for the third time as he and Ayda welcomed daughter Coco via surrogacy last month.
