Speculation about whether or not the superstar couple were having problems first began back in May, when footage emerged of Bey’s sister Solange assaulting Jay in an elevator.
Now sources say that the fight between Jay and Solange kicked off because she accused him of sleeping with Rihanna.

An insider told the New York Post: “Solange was like ‘Enough is enough- you must be [screwing] Rihanna’
“To many people who know them, they know it’s not out of the realm of possibility.”
There have been rumours of a supposed rivalry between Beyoncé and Rihanna for years.

When asked once about the Barbadian beauty, Bey replied: “I’ve been fortunate enough to accomplish things that the younger generation of queens dream of accomplishing.
“I have no desire for anyone else’s throne. I am very comfortable in the throne I’ve been building for the past 15 years.”
But shortly after the footage of the elevator fight was leaked, Bey posted a picture of her and Rihanna to Instagram – which was ironically taken on the same night.
Although Bey, Jay and Solange have never given an official reason for the argument, they released a joint statement shortly afterwards.
It said: “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public.”

In what seems to be a further hint there is trouble in paradise, Beyoncé has allegedly been seen house-hunting for apartments without her husband.
Another source told the New york Post: “Jay Z has always been extremely involved in their real estate deals. Yet he was nowhere to be seen during the apartment showing.
“She was very quiet, as if she was looking on the sly.”
