And the Bajan beauty is backing Tamera Foster to be the next big thing to come out of the competition.

Tamera, 16, sang a cover of Rihanna’s song Stay in her Boot Camp audition and it caught the singer’s attention.

Rihanna, 25, said: “I got sent a link of her after she sang one of my songs at Boot Camp and I have been watching her ever since.”

She also thinks that Simon Cowell will give Tamera a record deal, regardless of whether or not she wins.

She said: “The show needs to produce a superstar every two or three seasons to give them credibility, and I think she’s already there in week five or whatever it is.

And Rihanna is confident that Tamera is going to be massive worldwide, not only in the UK.

“Simon is a smart guy, he will know she can sell records all around the word and will sign her to his label.”

Rihanna also stuck up for Tamera, who has faced some criticism after some bad behavior from her past was revealed.

But Rihanna, famous for being controversial herself, said: “I really don’t think it matters at all whether Tamera has made one or two mistakes in her past.

“Show me somebody who hasn’t and I will show you a liar.”

She added that she didn’t think Tamera’s past would affect her future after the show.

“All that matters now is that she works hard and gets where her talent means she should be.”
