In footage published by the Daily Star, 25-year-old Ricky is seen on the phone as he argues with the debt collectors, who were attempting to take his Mercedes.
A source told the publication: “The bailiffs were there to collect an outstanding debt of £500. They arrived at 9am but Ricky didn’t answer the door so they went to get the caretaker.
“Eventually Ricky answered but he came down shouting and all that. He refused to get out of his car and then called the police.”
But the police were unable to help the former TOWIE star, and informed Ricky that he was in the wrong over the unpaid amount.
The source revealed that the courts had ordered a repossession of the vehicle after Ricky missed a court hearing over a parking ticket.
However, just as his car was about to be taken, Ricky allegedly gave in and paid the fine. But Ricky, who recently split from fiancé Marnie Simpson, is said to be seeking legal action against the bailiffs.
“When the tow truck arrived he finally agreed to pay the fine in full,” the source added. “The truck was literally seconds from lifting the car up when Ricky gave in.”
Ricky has yet to comment on the reports.
