After meeting Geordie Shore star Marnie, 23, in January this year, 25-year-old Ricky has made no secret of the fact he’s fallen hard.
Last month he made the decision to quit the show that made him famous, and he told OK! Online: “I spoke to the producers and we’d all agreed that I’d been on it for three and a half years and it was just a good time to sort of step aside and let any new people come in and enjoy being part of the show.
“Marnie was in the back of my mind and obviously it’s very time consuming being on the show. So it was just nice for me to be able to take a step back and concentrate on my future, concentrate on starting a family with her and moving forward with her instead of the show.”
Proving how committed he is to Marnie, Ricky recently got a tattoo of his initial – and he claims marriage could possibly be the next step.
He continued: “One step at a time, it is quite early on in the relationship, the tattoo is the first thing and obviously marriage is a big step.”
In December last year Ricky split from long-term partner Jessica Wright, after she discovered he’d been messaging other women behind her back.
Jessica, 30, has since claimed she has never been in love, despite being with Ricky for three years.
