The 43-year-old is dad to twin boys Valentino and Matteo who were born to a surrogate in 2008.

Because of this, while his looking for a relationship, Puerto Rican Ricky, has had to get his priorities right.

He told The Sun: “The first year as a single father with twins was insanity. I had eye bags down to my knees but it was the most beautiful year of my life.

“My kids travel with me everywhere. When I made the decision to bring my kids in into this world, I made a strategy go how it was going to work. It’s flowing beautifully.”

In January last year, Ricky split from partner Carlos Gonzalez after dating for five years.

It’s taken a while but the Livin’ La Vida Loca hit maker is ready to get back out there.

Something tells us Ricky won't be looking for very long...

He continued: “I am single now after seven years. I meet people. I’m fine. I meet very handsome men.

“We’re all men. It’s in our DNA to go for it. But I have two boys and I cannot bring different men every day into my house.”

And Ricky and Carlos have found a way to work things out, with him adding: “He comes to see the kids. There was a year of silence but now we’re buddies.”
