An app which has helped thousands of women to get pregnant in Sweden is now promising the same to couples in the UK, with a money-back guarantee
A fertility app called Natural Cycles is claiming to be able to help women to throw away their fertility calendars and conceive within just a few weeks. The founders claim it’s helped 5,000 Swedish women to get pregnant, on average, in under three months and is now promising the same results for UK couples.
Natural Cycles was invented by husband and wife team Dr Elina Berglund and Dr Raoul Scherwitzl. Natural Cycles works by identifying a woman’s fertile window by tracking her period and temperature, and recent clinical studies showed their algorithm could pinpoint ovulation with the same accuracy as methods used in clinics and hospitals.
Women are required to record their temperature in the morning, and enter it into the app which uses a unique algorithm to determine whether you are fertile on that day.
A guaranteed way to get pregnant?
Natural Cycles co-founder Dr Elina Berglund is so confident about the accuracy of the app that they are offering to refund UK women if they don’t conceive in the first nine months of use.
“The success of Natural Cycles depends on its algorithm”, says Dr Elina Berglund. "It’s unique because it has collected data from hundreds of thousands of cycles. This means Natural Cycles can adapt to each individual woman’s body and, with a high degree of precision and accuracy, determine when she is ovulating.”
