Renee Zellweger recently let rip about people's speculation of her having plastic surgery in an essay titled "We Can Do Better" - and now she's hit back at the haters again by addressing the problem while promoting the newest instalment to the Bridget Jones sequel Bridget Jones' Baby.

The star, who's face seems to have changed quite a bit over recent years, told the Sydney Morning Herald earlier this week: "We are made to believe that there's some value in meeting a social paradigm. It's been that way for centuries".

She then spoke of how Bridget Jones as a character helps to reduce the pressure that society puts on women, saying "She reminds us that outside of beauty everybody has something to contribute. And everybody has appeal in what they are as individuals.

Back in 2014, there was speculation that Zellweger had had an eye-lift after making an appearance on the red carpet looking quite different to how she had looked in prior years.

At the time, she said that the speculation was "silly" and during an appearance on NBC's Today show, she expressed how the speculation hadn't affected her. She said "It's not really part of my life. It's part of my job, that I don't really experience except when I step into this arena.

In my home I'm not aware of it. I don't do any kind of social media, so I don't see it. I like to have.... I guess you would call them, real experiences".

We think Renee looks as great as ever... and our excitement for the new movie just got extremely REAL!
