If you watched Neighbours in the 90s, then you’ll almost certainly remember the character of Hannah Martin in the hit Aussie soap.
Tempestuous teen Hannah- played by actress Rebecca Ritters- was an integral part of the soap between 1992 and 1999, returning just once in 2005 for Neighbours’ 20th anniversary special.
Hannah’s story lines included being the target of an abduction plot, nearly being poisoned by her half brother and losing her step mother to a stroke.
So where is Rebecca now?
One Neighbours fan decided to take it upon themselves to ask Rebecca outright if she was continuing to act.
Rebecca answered back on Twitter: "Hi @mansellevans, nope, not anymore. I gave it up a long time ago."
Instead of starring on the small screen, Rebecca swapped her scripts for textbooks and went on to study for a BA in politics and international relations at the University of Melbourne.
Now 31-year-old lives in Germany as a producer and journalist.
With her character Hannah moving to Europe for adventures on her Neighbours exit, life really does imitate art doesn’t it?
