However Rebecca, 29, has insisted if someone walks out on your while you’re pregnant – it’s no shame on you.

The X Factor star was dealt the blow during her third pregnancy, and has opened up about it in an attempt to make other women realise it’s not the end of the world.

Speaking to AOL’s Being Mum, Rebecca said: “I think it’s a subject women don’t like to talk about.

“I think there’s an element of shame, I felt that much pain when I was pregnant that I felt like there would be other women who are feeling that and they too don’t feel like they can talk about it.”

Rebecca, who is mum to Lilly-Mae, 10, Carl, nine, and six-month-old Arabella, stressed the fact that, while it might damage your confidence slightly and it can be difficult – but you will get through it.

The singer also opened up about the terrifying moment she collapsed during a performance on Loose Women – which made her realise she was expecting.

“I went on the show and noticed a couple of songs into the performance that I was really ill. I thought, ‘Oh, this isn’t good’. And I needed to stop. You can’t stop,” Rebecca said.

“So throughout the song, I was saying to myself, ‘Get through, get through it, you’re on live telly’, the music stopped and they took the camera away from me and so I thought, ‘OK’, and that was it, then I just ended up going to the floor. My gut instinct was telling me, ‘You’re pregnant’.”
