It was revealed to Gates, 28, by his grandmother that him and his girlfriend were related. He then announced to his 1.3+ million followers on Instagram that things were ‘too good’ for him to end.
Not seeming bothered by his new-found news, he explained: “Everthang beautiful.
“And yo grandmamma come and tell you one day ‘you know that’s your cousin.’
“Y’all done got the hard part out the way. Why f*** up a good thing?’”
He went on in the video to explain that the pair had a good sex life and ‘clicked’ stating that it wasn’t anybody’s business and why should he stop?
Gates, who told TMZ he dated his girlfriend in 2006-2008 and they have since broken up.
The Louisana artist also pointed out the law in his state states that although they are forbidden to marry, they are not forbidden to have sexual encounters.
