Hannah, 34, received heavy criticism after it was reported she’d dumped her fiancé Adam Thomas for fellow S Club 7 singer Paul Cattermole.

She and Paul, 38, dated at the height of S Club’s fame, but split in 2006. Following the band’s reunion this year, it seems they’ve rekindled their romance.

Rachel insists her friend hasn't done anything wrong

Addressing the reports, Rachel, 37, told the Mirror: “Hannah and Paul are so close, and they always have been.

“They’ve always got on so well, and always had that relationship and when we came back on tour, that just came back straight away.

“They always really just got on with each other right from the stat but this time around, I didn’t really think about it to be honest.”

Hannah’s ex Adam blasted her after their break-up, insisting she jumped straight from their relationship into one with Paul.

He said: “[Paul had] moved into my bed before it’d got cold – that’s the biggest kick in the teeth.”

But Hannah, who was spotted kissing Paul on a tube in London yesterday, hit back at the claims on Twitter

She wrote: “I know I know… I need to go to spec savers! And get some self respect and human decency while I’m at it [sic].”
