Prince Louis wore a two-piece set, that was once spotted on Princess Charlotte, for his first official photographs

The Duchess of Cambridge often sports the same look twice herself, so it's no wonder she's applying the same rule for her children.

In fact, Instagram has just gone crazy over the fact that Prince Louis was dressed in Princess Charlotte's old clothes for his first official photographs, posted on Kensington Palace's official Instagram page.

The sweet snaps, posted last night on Instagram, were captioned: "‪The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess at Kensington Palace.‬ ‪This image of Prince Louis was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace on 26th April.‬ ‪The Duke and Duchess would like to thank members of the public for their kind messages following the birth of Prince Louis, and for Princess Charlotte’s third birthday.‬"

The second pic was a cute snap of Princess Charlotte cuddling her new baby bro on her third birthday - which sent fans into meltdown.

One follower commented: "Aww he looks so happy and can tell hrh Charlotte loves him congratulations x", while another posted "Magnificent photo with princess Charlotte and prince Louis. Charlotte is so adorable with her younger brother. A big very protective sister😍😍."

The first official photos of the new baby prince were posted just a couple of weeks after Duchess Kate gave birth to him on April 27th.

We can't get enough of the cuteness overload! We wonder when we'll get to see some more of gorgeous Prince Louis...
