Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's engagement photos are here and they're truly stunning

The day has finally arrived and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially confirmed they're getting married.

The happy couple who have been dating since 2016 confirmed the exciting news via Kensington Palace. In a tweet, they wrote: "The Prince of Wales has announced the engagement of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle".

A statement has also been released revealing the Prince and 26-year-old actress actually got engaged earlier this month but decided to keep it a secret.

The happy couple are getting married in spring next year and are reportedly set to tie the knot in a church, according to This Morning.

Now, the happy couple have posed for their engagement photos and it's safe to say they look incredible! During the incredible photoshoot, Harry admitted he knew she was the woman he would marry when he first met her. He said: "I knew she was the one from the very first day."

He added that he's over the moon about getting married: "[I'm] thrilled. Very glad it's not raining as well."

Meanwhile Meghan went on to admit that she's "so happy" about the news and when asked whether the proposal was romantic, she replied "Of course it was."
