OMG! Prince George looks SO cute on his first day at school

Prince George had his first day at school and looked so adorable

Like many others across the country lots of children are starting school this week; whether it's their first day in primary school, secondary school or maybe they're just moving up another year – it's a pretty big day.

Prince George is a royal so of course, everyone is interested in his first day at school and we cannot lie he looks absolutely adorable. It was Prince William who took his four-year-old son to school on his first day and escorted him into his reception classroom.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, who is currently pregnant with her third child originally planned that she would be the one to take her son to school however she was dealing with severe morning sickness so couldn't make it.

A Kensington Palace spokesperson spoke earlier on in the day and said: "Unfortunately The Duchess of Cambridge remains unwell, and will not be able to accompany Prince George on his first day of school.

"The Duke of Cambridge will drop off Prince George this morning as planned."

Kensington Palace shared pictures of Prince George starting his new school - Thomas's Battersea. Sharing two photos from the big day on Twitter, they wrote: "Prince George arrives for his first day of school at Thomas's Battersea with his father The Duke of Cambridge."

How cute does he look!

Lots of people have gushed about how adorable the prince looks, with one person writing: "Bless him he looks gorgeous. Have a super fun day Prince George and enjoy your new journey in school life! 💕💕💕"

Someone else said: "Oh bless him he looks so nervous"

Another commented: "Prince George looks very smart in his school uniform."

A fourth added: "How cute! He looks so scared. Good luck, George!"

One more wrote: "My heart goes out to Kate having to miss this special day. And to all other parents who weren't able to make it on third child's first day."
