The 45-year-old, who gave birth to Xanthe and Zena earlier this year, described the agonising wait for her second twin to arrive - after a relatively easy first delivery.
The mum-of-three said she was ‘losing a lot of blood’ as they waited for the second twin to make an appearance into the world, and they suddenly had to get the baby out.
To make matters more complicated however, the baby was facing the wrong way round, making it harder to deliver.
And as the midwives called for assistance, Julia continued to lose a substantial amount of blood.
But thanks to the hard work and expertise of the midwives, Julia took home two healthy babies - joining her four year old son Zephyr.
The popular presenter went through five rounds of IVF to fall pregnant with her twin daughters, four years after being diagnosed with painful womb condition endometriosis.
But despite being told she would struggle to conceive, her ‘miracle’ son was born four years ago, followed by her twins in 2015.
Julia is now campaigning to raise money for Queen Charlotte’s Maternity Unit, so it can continue helping women deliver healthy and happy babies.
