Yesterday the mother-of-three spoke to a UK newspaper for the first time from her hospital bed, revealing her terror.
‘I feel like I have been through hell in the past 13 days, but I just thank God I went to the hospital and got things under control,’ the 35-year-old admitted.
Katie- also known as Jordan- was staying at a villa with friends and family, when her amniotic sack burst and she was rushed to hospital with 25-year-old husband Kieran by her side.
The model has been kept in hospital since, amidst fears of an infection causing a premature birth.
Katie, who has kept a low profile throughout what she has called ‘her most difficult pregnancy’, said:
‘I don't know what to expect in the next couple of days. I just want my baby out so I can meet it and hold it in my arms.’
With doctors warning her it is only 80 per cent safe to fly home, the model has decided to stay put, adding:
‘It feels like I am in prison. They won't even let me out of bed.’
The glamour model turned author took to Twitter yesterday to thank her fans for their well wishes, writing:
‘Just like to say thank you for your kind messages of support during this challenging time, always a drama! ....cont
