Holly Willoughby, 33, recently announced that she is expecting her third child - and the yummy mummy has admitted in an interview that motherhood has made her more emotional.

The presenter, who is already a mother to Harry, four, and two-year-old Belle, admitted to the Daily Express: “Everything’s more emotional when you’re a mum.

"I’m more scared of everything, I’m more emotional about everything. It does change things.

"I can’t help crying."

We're sure plenty of mums will agree with her - but the comments may irk controversial columnist Samantha Brick, who attacked Holly for being "pathetic" and over-emotional when she broke down over the Ian Watkins case on This Morning last year.

She said: "WHAT? That's pathetic, she simply shouldn't be covering news stories if she can't hold it together. Imagine the victims watching or those in need of help. The last thing they need to see is her sobbing."

Plenty of people stuck up for Holly, praising her for being more human than other presenters.

Holly’s career is flourishing at the moment. Not only does she present Surprise Surprise and This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield, but she also appears as a team captain opposite best friend Fearne Cotton on comedy panel show Celebrity Juice.

Holly's also branched out into other projects, such as designing a clothes range for Very and co-writing a series of children’s books, School For Stars, with her sister, Kelly Willoughby.

But, despite all that, Holly knows how to make time for the most important part of her life; her family.

Admitting that she is "vicious" with her time, she said: “I’m really happy with where I am at the moment.”

“It’s really nice doing a broad spectrum of stuff and I’m fortunate to have that. My work/ life balance is really important to me so I don’t want to take too much on because what I’m doing right now is fine. I’m really careful with my time.”
