Claire Sweeney split from Daniel Riley in January, just weeks before she discovered she was expecting a baby.

But the pregnant star, who has previously suffered from two miscarriages, has revealed that there is a possibility that she and Daniel may give their relationship another try.

She told a UK magazine: "We've been spending lots of time together and the priority really is to get the baby born and healthy and we'll see what happens after that.

"We've grown a lot closer. He's been so supportive. He's been brilliant, he really has.

"He's been an absolute rock."

Claire also revealed recently that she will be giving her unborn son a celestial name, to remind herself that he is a gift from above.

She said: "I'm having a boy and I'm calling him Gabriel because he's my little angel sent from heaven."

The name, which means 'God is my strength', is apparently one connected with "passionate, compassionate, intuitive, romantic [and] magnetic" people, according to vary name website She Knows.

The former Loose Woman presenter's agent Jonathan Shalit announced that the star was five months pregnant in May, stating: “Albeit not together (Claire and Daniel) remain close friends and are absolutely delighted with the impending birth of their first son.

“Claire could not be happier. To be pregnant and starring in her own show in her hometown of Liverpool is all her dreams come true at once.”
