Reports have emerged claiming that police were called to the home of Frankie Essex in Buckhurst Hill during a ‘violent bust-up’.

The Sun on Sunday reports that police were called around 50 times during the Easter weekend.

It was alleged that Frankie, 27, was in the middle of a ‘fiery row’ with boyfriend John Lyons.

A source told the paper: "It's not unusual for them to be rowing, but this is a particularly nasty argument.

"She never meant to hurt him but he surged towards her and she panicked and tried to push him away. She caught him on the neck with a glass."

Speaking about her boyfriend, Frankie said last year: “I hope he's the one, I'm not in it for nothing.

'He's got a really good job and his own life. I would never push him to come on the show. He said if ever needs to help me out [he would], but that's not right. I would never bring him on the show for a storyline."
