Pop star Pink has been praised for sharing a picture of herself pumping breastmilk on Instagram.

The singer, who is already mother to daughter Willow, born in 2011, welcomed a baby boy Jameson to the world in December with husband Carey Hart.

And on Thursday, the singer took to Instagram to post a picture of herself using a breast pump.

She captioned the image: “And now this #pumpupthejams #mombreak.”

The musician’s fans were quick to praise the star, with many saying it was great she was making public breastfeeding more normal.

One American fan commented: “Just love it! Normalising breastfeeding like a boss!”

Another follower remarked: “Everything about this pic is amazing #mamasgetitdone.”

Someone else joked: “@pink & now pump up the jam is in my head! Lol #momlife.”

Pink gave birth to little Jameson on Boxing Day last year and announced the happy news online.

Sharing a picture of herself and her son, she wrote: “Jameson Moon Hart 12.26.16.”

And she hopes to have another child in the future, previously saying on Good Morning America: “I love being a mama. I made a choice a long time ago that I was going to have a successful family and that is my absolute number one goal in life.

“I feel like I have two kids right now. I would like a third. No, I want to say that Carey Hart’s an awesome husband and a really good dad, but he’s also like a second child.”
