Angelina Jolie had a super awkward encounter with Sony boss Amy Pascal on Wednesday, just days after her email exchange describing the actress as a ‘minimally talented spoiled brat’ were leaked.
The emails, that were never meant to be seen by the public, were between Amy and Hollywood producer Scott Rudin, and they were leaked alongside others that appeared to be racist towards President Barack Obama.
And if there was ever a photograph that proved ‘a picture tells a thousand words’ it is this one, where Jolie and Pascal bumped into each other at a Hollywood event.
Holding herself stuff and upright, Pascal seems to be going to embrace Jolie, who holds the Sony exec by the elbows while giving her a stony faced glare.
In case you missed the furore, emails between Pascal and Rudin revealed that the Hollywood director disliked Jolie, and had ‘zero appetite for the indulgence of spoiled brats.’
He was instructing Pascal that he did not want a movie of Cleopatra to be made, which Angelina wished to star in, because he didn’t like the script.
Amy has now been forced to apologise for her comments, saying she is sorry ‘to everyone who was offended.’
One actor who came out somewhat more favourably in the attack was Michael Fassbender, who apparently made one director ‘feel bad for having normal sized male genitalia.’ Oh my.
