Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are, without a doubt, two our our favourite telly presenters ever.

Not only are they good at what they do, but they’re also very warm and kind to their many fans on social media - not to mention absolutely hilarious.

However they came under some criticism earlier this year when they turned up to present This Morning in their dishevelled glad rags from the night before.

The night before being the National Television Awards, naturally.

Let’s just remind ourselves of that iconic TV moment, shall we?

Amazing.

It was absolutely HILARIOUS viewing in our opinion - and it was good to see that celebs also suffer those alcohol-induced effects on the morning-after-the-night-before.

However, to those who weren’t impressed with the Best Live Magazine Show winners, Phil had this to say at the time: “We're in a mess. We can only apologise. We celebrated on behalf of each and every one of you.”

And now, in a new interview, the dad-of-two has told The Express that he feels that he and Holly may have “crossed the line” with their antics.

He said: “That's not a stunt we'd pull lightly, although we didn't know we were doing it in the first place - it just sort of happened.

“I like to think we know where the line is. I do agree that we may have crossed the line, but it was a one-off.”

Phillip went on to add that he had NEVER done anything like that before on television.

The silver fox said firmly: “In all my time in TV, I've never done that before, I've done it hungover but I've never done it in that state.”

Oh bless him.

To be honest, we found the whole thing pretty hilarious - and it let us feel as if we’d actually been at the NTAs along with Phil and Holly.

Which is, to be honest, the DREAM, isn’t it?
