It’s the relationship #goals we never knew we needed – Phillip Schofield has been asked out by one-time Strictly star Reverend Richard Coles during a live radio interview.
Speaking about coming out as gay at the start of the year on Radio 4’s Saturday Morning Live, Phil was interrupted by a flirtatious Rev Rich who suggested dinner and drinks with the This Morning star.
Phil said, “‘If you are listening to this and you’re struggling in some way, you have to talk to somebody. You can’t do this on your own, I had to talk to someone, I had two psychiatrists and I decided that psychiatry wasn’t for me. I have a psychologist now and that works brilliantly for me.”
Richard then cut in, “If you’re looking for a bit of company Phillip? Broadcaster, gay, in his middle years. Single.”

Though Phillip didn’t give him an answer live on air, we do hope he agreed to a date and that they become the UK’s next biggest power couple (move over Posh and Becks).
Following his statement about his sexuality back in February, Phil discussed his dating status with his best friend and co-star Holly Willoughby on This Morning and said, "I'm not rushing out to anybody.
