On November 22 Peter Andre and his wife Emily MacDonagh welcomed their second child together, Theodore, into the world.
But although the family are all happy and healthy now, the couple have revealed that the birth itself was far from straightforward.
In October, Emily revealed that she was already having contractions and that was just the beginning of her problems.
During a routine check-up, the couple discovered that Theo was breech and his weight had dropped. Emily told OK Magazine: "I went to hospital and they tried to turn him from the outside, which was quite painful, but I didn’t want a C-section so I had to get through it."
Emily given injections to help Theo's lungs develop, and it was decided that Emily was going to have to give up the natural birth she'd planned in order to have a C-section.
The 27-year-old explained: "I felt robbed of having a natural birth but at least he’s healthy."
It was only recent that Peter revealed his adorable sons name to the world. In a tweet he wrote: "Theo it is then or Theodore James Andre (a) to be precise.
And the couple, who have been married for a year, opened up about the special meaning behind their son's name. Peter admitted it was Emily who chose the name, saying: "[It] happens to be the Greek version of my mum's name, Theobisti, which means faith in God.
"The fact Emily knew this and wanted it so much suddenly made me so emotional because I knew how much my mum would love that."
How adorable!
The Mysterious Girl singer previously gushed that his son looks like him and now Emily has backed up her husband's claims and admitted: "He [Theo] looks Greek and I love the fact it's a Greek name."
This is Peter and Emily's second child together. Their daughter, Amelia, is two, and Peter has two children from his marriage to Katie Price - Junior, 11 and Princess Tiaamii, nine.
